💡 About the Role

We’re after someone exceptional—a financial up-and-coming leader with a passion for impact and a drive to excel.

  • World-class analytical skills: You don’t just crunch numbers—you have a Goldman Sachs or McKinsey standards of analytical thinking, uncovering actionable insights from complex data.

  • Proven experience: At least 2 years in an FP&A role at a fast-paced startup and/or experience at a Big Four firm (a combination of both is ideal).

  • Uncompromising standards: Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. Read more about our culture of high standards here.

  • Business acumen: You understand our business inside-out, from strategic decisions to how individual teams influence one another. You bring value to every senior discussion you’re a part of.

  • Structured and process-driven: With a broad scope of responsibilities, you prioritize and optimize effectively (hello, 80/20 rule).

  • Integrity and trustworthiness: You’ll have access to sensitive data and make decisions with a significant impact on the company’s trajectory.

  • Mission alignment: Passionate about education and driven by the desire to see students and professionals succeed.

  • (Bonus) Accounting and tax know-how: While not mandatory, familiarity with accounting principles and ID tax regulations is a plus.

We’re not looking for a seasoned FP&A Manager—we’re looking for someone hungry to grow, eager to take on a role that pushes their boundaries, and ready to punch above their weight class.

If you’re highly ambitious, committed to rapid career growth, and looking for a big leap in responsibility and impact, this could be the perfect environment for you to thrive.

  • Steer financial planning: Partner with the Leadership team to build annual business plans and improve forecasting accuracy.

  • Develop robust financial models: Craft sophisticated financial models from scratch or refine existing ones to capture complex dynamics and propose actionable solutions.

  • Deliver strategic insights: Provide deep financial analysis—both routine and ad hoc—on operating and financial metrics, helping drive decision-making.

  • Shape compensation strategies: Collaborate with Senior Management and People Operations to develop compensation, incentive, and stock option plans.

  • Lead financial reviews: Prepare monthly Management Business Reviews and support fundraising activities and investor relations.

Operational responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounting operations: Take ownership of all accounting functions, including evaluating whether to bring them in-house.

  • Drive cost efficiencies: Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and ensure accountability across teams.

  • Ensure compliance: Manage monthly and annual tax filings, as well as regulatory compliance.

  • Validate internal metrics: Become the “voice of truth” by establishing processes to verify key metrics across teams and departments.
